This is a MUST for any avaition enthusiast. My wife gave me an hour ride and I went on Feb 12, 2005. What a great ride! Mike is a great pilot. This was a dream come true. Best part was playing photo op with the Goodyear blimp which was also flying. If you love antique aircraft and "the sound of round" you have to do this. Thanks Mike and the Crew! Jeff Nichol

Just went this weekend (1/23/2005). Took the aerobatic flight version. It was sooooooo much fun (any more would be illegal) to see Palos Verdes upside down! If you love roller coasters this is worth every penny. I want to do it again but I was so excited when I came down my wife and kids want to go before I go again. Hello Today is my 78 birthday and I wanted to make contact with the Compton Airport for a ride in a Stearman. In 1945 I left Compton for the Naval Air Corps and finished my career at the end of WWII at Pensacola flying the SNJ. With your help, a birthday gift from the love of my life made my dream come true! It's now the day after and I still feel high from the experience. Dear Kendle and Mike, Thanks for making this birthday gift flight so very enjoyable for me. The following is a description of today's experience as related to my kids in thanking them for this outstanding experience! Carl Obert @75. Huntington Beach, CA

Barnstorming turns, Inside Loops and Snap Rolls! All of this along with a beautiful scenic flight from Long Beach with a touch down at Hawthorne. Then with special permission clearance, a fly by of LAX. Continuing south/east along the southern Calif. coast enjoying spectacular views of Palos Verdes on one side and distant views of Catalina Island on the other side. As The break water at LA Harbor came into view, pilot, Mike Hanson turned the 1943 Stearman's controls over to me. The hands on experience, for me, was most gratifying and continued as such, where upon reaching the Huntington Beach Pier Mike again took over the controls. The pier now out of site as we steered north/west with an aerial view of Huntington Beach and then crossing over the Seal Beach Navel Weapons Depot. The one hour flight is fast approaching its' time slot and the pilot is in contact with the Long Beach tower for landing instructions. And then we were landing. I thank all of you for your love and for this thoughtful gift of flight! How Sweet It Is. Dad.

I live locally by Stearns and Clark Avenues and I've seen your plane many times flying over the house many times. My grandson gets a real kick out of the "Big yellow bird", and as soon as he gets older and proves himself, he may get a chance to fly and experience it for himself. The flight was all I ever dreamed it would be. What a wonderful airplane and a great pilot. I really want to fly again soon. The amazing part for me was the quick response during aerobatics. The plane is quiet and quick. I had also forgotten the short take off and landing capability of that great plane. It is a wonderful craft and a great experience. This was more comfortable and more exciteing than first class in a 747.
